🔥 Kate Monroe — Special Guest DJ

Fresh off the Ministry of Sound Australian Tour, we’re seriously excited to welcome Kate Monroe to the Lotus decks! 🪩🔥

With more than 30 years behind the decks, Kate is a master of creating dance floors where the music, the people and the moment all come together.

Her musical playground is anything but predictable, think disco, funk, soul, house, Balearic, indie dance, electronica, leftfield pop and timeless club classics, expertly mixed with a few unexpected gems thrown in for good measure.

Kate doesn’t do cookie-cutter sets. She reads the room, feels the energy and takes the crowd on a journey. She knows when you need a nostalgic singalong, when to turn it up, and exactly when to drop that track you didn’t know you needed.

Her impressive career has seen her grace some of Australia’s biggest stages, including Sydney Gay & Le***an Mardi Gras, Harbour Party, Sleaze Ball, Field Day and Ministry of Sound events, as well as holding a legendary 12-year residency at Sydney’s Home Nightclub.

Now she’s bringing all that experience, energy and dance-floor magic to Lotus at the Nudge. 🧡

🔥 Ria Listic — Lotus Resident DJ

Lighting up dance floors since the late ’90s, Ria Listic brings the kind of infectious energy that gets you moving before you even realise it.
With 20+ years behind the decks and a serious love affair with house music, Ria’s musical knowledge is broad, eclectic and never predictable.
From house and disco classics you can’t help but sing along to, to those “OMG, what is THIS?” dance-floor bombs she knows exactly how to build the vibe.

Ria has featured at Sunday Kicks, Playground, Balcony Beats, Secret Garden, Coco Republik and Barefoot Beats, as well as festival favourites including Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Rainbow Serpent, Burning Seed and Earth Frequency.
And of course, she’s no stranger to the Lotus dance floor, having played our fundraisers annually since 2021, including 2023, 2024, twice in 2025 and March 2026. 🧡

Basically… Ria knows how to get a party started.

🧡 With gratitude.

Recently, we received this beautiful message from the daughter of one of our clients whose father received support through funds raised at one of our fundraising events.

If I had to describe Lotus Palliative Care in one word, it would be ‘wow’.
Saying they saved my sanity might sound like an exaggeration, but it truly isn't. When my elderly father came to stay with me, I was completely unprepared for the level of care he would need. I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and as a foreigner with no family support nearby, I felt incredibly alone.
The team at Lotus Palliative Care stepped in and made what felt impossible suddenly manageable. Honestly don't know how I would have coped without them.. The work Lotus Palliative Care has done is invaluable. You don't truly realise how important these services are until you need them. I will always be grateful for the kind of support and compassion they showed my father and me.

🪩 GI Jode — Bringing the Disco Heat!

For more than two decades, GI Jode has been making Sydney dance floors shake with her signature blend of house, blues, gospel and disco.
And trust us when GI Jode hits the decks, sitting down is simply not an option. 🔥

From intimate bars to sweaty warehouse parties, she’s shared the lineup with international legends including Carl Cox and Joey Negro (Dave Lee) and become a much-loved fixture of Sydney’s Mardi Gras scene.
With ten appearances at the iconic Mardi Gras Main Party, plus Harbour Party, Laneway Recovery, Fair Day and Kaftana, GI Jode knows exactly how to deliver that feel-good, hands-in-the-air, disco-house magic.

Now bringing her groove to the Northern Rivers, she’s already been turning it on at Nudge Nudge Wink Wink alongside her disco partner-in-crime Kate Monroe, as well as Goldy’s and Sunhouse.
With an encyclopaedic knowledge of dance music and a serious talent for finding that tune that gets everyone moving, GI Jode brings the soul, the sass and the sparkle. ✨🪩

🪩 Nu — Lotus DJ Debut

From Lotus supporter to Lotus DJ we couldn’t be more excited to have Nu make her debut behind the decks!
Nu has been a faithful Lotus supporter over the years, and we’ve been somewhat bewitched by her moves on the dance floor. Now it’s time to see what happens when we put her behind the decks! 🔥

A true multi-passionate artist and free spirit, Nu’s relationship with music began in Persia, where she studied music theory and learned multiple instruments from the age of seven. Music has always been a place of freedom, connection and transformation for her.

Her journey eventually brought her to the Northern Rivers, where she found community, creativity and the inspiration to take her love of music to the next level.
Since stepping behind the decks, Nu has brought her sound to Lab Leak Beats, Maaikal NY at Kohinur, Mystic Valley’s Temple of Boom, Sacred Heart Festival, the Wonky Creatures Stage and Kohlective.
Expect organic rhythms, uplifting grooves, soulful frequencies and a whole lot of heart. Music designed to connect, move and bring people together.

We’re incredibly proud to have Nu making her Lotus debut on the decks, sharing her energy and music in support of an organisation that means so much to our community.
