Preconception care = 🙌🙏 There is so much you can do to improve your chances of conception and a healthy pregnancy.
Everyone is different but these are a few general things everyone can work on:
🌱 improve diet - focus on whole foods, enough protein and healthy fats, wide variety and colour, regular meals, balanced and less processed.
☕️ limit coffee to max one a day, and avoid alcohol too.
🧘♀️ exercise in moderation - depends on the individual but typically 3-4x week strength based/yoga and regular walks should suffice, reduce the excessive HIIT classes.
🙅♀️ opt for low tox products - natural make up and skincare. Also reducing plastics and other chemicals, fragrances etc
☀️ improve your vitamin D levels.
🩸get bloods done to check where everything is at.
🌸 address any underlying health conditions- especially those such as PCOS, low iron, endo, thyroid issues, menstrual cycle irregularities.
💦 drink more water
🫡 get s***m checked and review it for optimal ranges and make changes as necessary (see my other posts about s***m)
😌 reduce stress where possible and bring more joy into your life 🫶
👌 acupuncture! Works on improving blood flow, hormones, stress levels & sleep etc. We will also likely do herbal medicine depending on what you need.
💊 supplementation appropriate to your needs. See a health professional for guidance on this one. At the very least on a good quality preconception multi with methylated folate.
