Did you know: The handheld Dynamometer (invented in 1954) allows an Occupational Therapist to measure the initial grip strength of their patients, track and analyse the changes in grip strength over time, and use that information to make any needed changes to a patient’s therapeutic program. The Dynamometer is a great outcome measure as this test can be performed at the beginning and end of their therapy journey to track their progress over time.

"Mental health is a universal human right" is the theme for this year's World Mental Health Day 2023.

Everyone, whoever and wherever they are, has a right to the highest attainable standard of mental health. This includes the right to be protected from mental health risks, the right to available, accessible, acceptable, and high-quality care, and the right to liberty, independence, and inclusion in the community.
