What a day at the Cairns Disability Expo!
It was fantastic getting out into the community, catching up with so many familiar faces and meeting some incredible new ones along the way.
A huge thank you to the Cairns Disability Expo organisers, all the amazing providers, participants and volunteers who helped make the day such a success. Events like this are a great reminder of just how much passion, experience and genuine care exists across our Cairns disability community.
And congratulations to the winners of our hamper!
We were especially touched to hear their story. The winning couple, now in their 70s, have fostered more than 400 children throughout their lives and have called the same home in Earlville home for over 50 years. What an incredible contribution to our community.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet you both, and we hope you enjoy the hamper!
To everyone who stopped by for a chat, shared a laugh, spun the wheel, connected with our team or simply said hello — thank you for making the day so much fun.
And to our fellow providers: it was great seeing everyone out there doing what they do best — supporting people, building connections and strengthening our community.
