Fundraising Update – $5,526.20 Raised

Today, we gathered once again to say a heartfelt thank you to all our supporters, volunteers, donors, and everyone who contributed to this important cause.

We are incredibly grateful to announce that $5,526.20 has been raised through our fundraising efforts to support those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.

The fundraising went incredibly well, and it truly reflects the strength, generosity, and compassion of our community. When people are in need, we come together and this is a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve when we stand united.

We believe that acts of humanity, kindness, and support can bring hope and strength to those suffering through difficult times.

A Humbling Evening of Connection, Gratitude and Celebration

What a truly humbling and memorable evening we had at the HCCS Annual Function 2026, held last Friday, 21 August, at the Brothers Leagues Club.

With around 200 people in attendance, the evening brought together the people who make HCCS what it is our valued participants and their families who are at the heart of everything we do; our dedicated support staff who are the strength and caring face of our service; our stakeholders and partners whose trust and collaboration enable us to make a difference; and our community leaders; whose guidance and support continue to inspire us to serve humanity with compassion and purpose.

We are deeply grateful to every one of you. Your presence has rejuvenated us and strengthened our commitment to continue serving and supporting people, both within and beyond our scope.

One thought we hope everyone takes away from the evening is this: HCCS is about much more than statistics, numbers and services. It is about appreciation, motivation, connection and showing up for one another.

Every conversation, every act of kindness, every hour of support and every moment of encouragement can make a difference in someone's life. That is what we celebrated on the night — not just what we do, but why we do it.
