Hey Man, when was the last time you actually felt your body?
Not your productivity.
Not your responsibilities.
Not the weight of being the one who holds everything together.
Your body.
The breath moving through your ribs.
Warmth on your skin.
The ache in your shoulders.
The places that are braced without you even noticing.
Men deserve touch that isn’t asking for anything.
Not s*x.
Not performance.
Not toughness.
Just safe, grounded, human touch.
Because somewhere along the way, a lot of men learned to live from the neck up.
Think. Fix. Provide. Push through.
But you are not a machine.
You are an animal.
You have skin that wants to feel.
Muscles that want to soften.
A nervous system that wants to know it’s safe.
A body that was designed for connection.
Massage can be a doorway back into that.
A chance to stop doing and start receiving.
To come back into your senses.
To notice what’s been held.
To breathe deeper.
To inhabit your own skin again.
And this isn’t just about feeling better for an hour.
When men become more comfortable with safe touch and their own bodies, they can become more available for intimacy in all its forms.
A hand on their partner’s back.
A long hug with their kids.
Being able to sit close without needing it to become sexual.
Knowing how to receive affection.
Knowing how to give it.
Knowing that tenderness doesn’t make you less of a man.
Maybe it makes you more human.
More present.
More connected.
More alive.
Because your family doesn’t need another man who can endure everything.
They need a man who can feel.
Come back to your body.
Come back to your senses.
Come back to the animal underneath all that armour. 🖤
