About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and technically minded Casual Personal Alarm Installer to join our team.
This role involves travelling throughout Cairns and surrounding regions to install, replace and service personal emergency alarm systems while delivering outstanding customer service. As this is a field-based position, you will spend a significant amount of your working day driving between client appointments and should be comfortable working independently while managing your daily schedule.
A fully maintained company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel.
Responsibilities
* Install and program personal emergency alarm systems.
* Demonstrate equipment to clients and their families.
* Complete equipment upgrades and replacements.
* Perform routine maintenance and testing.
* Troubleshoot basic technical issues.
* Maintain accurate installation records using a mobile device.
* Represent the business professionally at all times.
* Work independently while providing exceptional client care.
About You

* Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Is confident using smartphones, tablets and basic technology.
* Is organised, reliable and able to work independently.
* Has strong problem-solving skills.
* Takes pride in providing high-quality service.
Essential Requirements
* Current Australian Driver Licence with a good driving record.
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to use mobile apps and basic computer systems.
Desirable
* Experience in community services, aged care, disability, health, telecommunications, security, electrical, IT support or technical installations.
* Experience working in clients’ homes.
