When times are hard and the grocery budget won't stretch, a welcoming community pantry is opening its doors every Friday across Cairns and Townsville,
no questions asked, no referral needed.
Run by True Supportive Care, the Community Pantry
is designed for people and families who are really struggling.
What's Available:
Each week, the pantry is filled with staples that matter most:
milk, tinned goods, vegetables, and fruit.
There are reasonable per-person limits in place so more households can access the support when they need it.
No Barriers, Just Support:
There's no paperwork, no judgment, and no hoops to jump through. The pantry operates on trust and compassion—if you need help, you're welcome.
When and Where:
The Community Pantry is open every Friday from
10:30am to 1:30pm at:
Cairns office: 131 Lake St, Cairns City 4870
Townsville office: 139–149 Stanley St, Townsville City
