Working to improve health care in Far North Queensland through equipment, facilities, education and research. Not for Profit Organisation with Tax Deductible and Gift Recipient Status. Fundraising activities include (but are not limited to): charity and sporting events, commercial management of the Cairns Hospital Car Park, dcafe and Sea Breeze Cafe. All funds raised are directed to funding equipment over and above what is provided by Queensland Health.

What a fantastic afternoon at Lunch with a Legend: Crime, Clues & Vader.

Guests enjoyed stories from former police officer and author Dave Raymond, engaging conversation with John McKenzie, an auction led by Dave Murphy from Ray White, and a popular Wine Lucky Dip hosted by Frank from The Wine Tradition.

Most importantly, together we raised an incredible $10,000 to support better health care across Far North Queensland.

A heartfelt thank you to our exclusive event sponsors, Mark and Jodie from Hopkinson Consulting Engineers, Joan and the team at Ela for hosting us, and everyone who generously donated prizes and auction items.

This is not the first time that Brock and Icon Cancer Centre - Australia have supported our fundraising efforts.

Brock is literally putting his body on the line to raise funds for us, taking part in the TCS Sydney Marathon this August.

He really gets it. A little bit more raised for us can help us do a little bit more for patients throughout the region, from Tully to the Torres Strait.

Brock has a great community around him including Renee Ker - TriMotivate Cairns Triathlon Coaching.

Thanks to everyone involved, we raised an amazing $8180 to support the purchase of a bedside ultrasound - helping to deliver faster, more comfortable care for rehabilitation patients. ⛳

A huge thank you to the ANZ team, our enthusiastic golfers, generous sponsors and dedicated volunteers who made the day possible.
