🌿 **Community Spirit in Action!** 🌿

We are so grateful for the incredible families who came together to reclaim our new nature hub in Mossman from the encroaching rainforest. Your hard work and dedication are paving the way for a nurturing space for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks to your efforts, we’re almost ready to welcome landscapers to help us reimagine these green spaces. Stay tuned for updates on our programs that will reconnect us with nature and promote wellbeing through exploration, presence, and play.

🌿 Big news, FNQ Nature Quest family! We’re delighted to announce we now have an HQ in Douglas Shire, the old scout hall in Mossman next to Foxton Bridge! 🎉

Yesterday we received an incredible $5000 grant from the Tin Shed Port Douglas to landscape and develop the green spaces. We are so grateful for your support to kick off this nature based community hub in Douglas Shire

We have **TWO wonderful sessions** planned:

💚 **FREE to attend**, thanks to funding through Communities for Children.

Come along and join **Brooke (Occupational Therapist), Felicity (Speech Therapist), Bella (Early Childhood Educator), Jonny (Social Worker) and Bek (Student)** for a morning of connection, play, exploration and learning in nature.

We’ll have a **wide range of activities** ready for you and your little ones under the beautiful Raintrees at Sugarworld Gardens. 🌳🪵🍃

🌧️ **BLOOM & BELONG – TODAY’S SESSION CANCELLED** 🌧️

Unfortunately, today’s **Bloom & Belong Nature Playgroup** has been cancelled due to the heavy rain. 🌧️💦

We had hoped we could still go ahead, but after arriving to set up, we’ve found the site is **very wet and soggy**. Today the weather has other plans!
We are working to find options with more undercover areas to utilise going forward too.

We’re looking forward to seeing all our little nature explorers and their grown-ups next week 🌿💚

Here’s hoping the rain finally clears and we get some sunshine soon! ☀️🤞
