Five trials. Five clients. One powerful outcome

This week our team travelled across Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle to meet with individuals living with Huntington’s disease and trial the Novacorr Huntington’s Chair and Bed

Each person presented differently. Varying symptoms. Different needs. Different support levels. But the result in every case was the same

✅ Chorea significantly reduced or stopped
✅ Safer and more stable transfers
✅ Feeding became easier and safer
✅ Clients appeared calm, settled and content
✅ Most importantly they were burning less energy

For people with Huntington’s disease involuntary movement leads to constant calorie burn. It results in weight loss fatigue and faster disease progression. By reducing chorea our equipment helps preserve energy and support long-term wellbeing

And emotionally the difference was just as powerful.

What a night 💙

Josh and I headed down to the Gold Coast for an evening in service with the amazing team at

They fed us Thai food (yes please) and made us feel like part of the crew from the moment we walked in.

We wrapped up the night with a round of applause and a speech thanking us for understanding clinical justification and truly seeing the needs of their clients.

Goosebumps. Grateful. Inspired.

Let’s be real — “just a recliner”? That’s like saying a hospital bed is just a mattress with rails.

👀 OTs know better.

We’ve all seen what happens when the wrong chair rolls into someone’s life:
