Have you noticed yourself feeling pulled in different directions lately?
One day you feel clear. The next day you question everything.
One moment you feel excited by possibility. The next, you find yourself overthinking, seeking reassurance or waiting until you feel more certain before taking the next step.
You think about it. Research it. Talk yourself into it, then talk yourself out of it. You consider every possible outcome, trying to find the certainty that tells you exactly what to do next.
And yet, despite all of that thinking, you still don’t feel any closer to knowing.
I think a lot of people are standing in this space right now.
Feeling mentally restless.
Feeling pulled between possibilities and uncomfortable with not knowing.
Wondering if they are missing something or waiting for the certainty that tells them they are finally ready.
But what if waiting for certainty is the very thing keeping you from what is trying to emerge?
This Gemini New Moon feels deeply connected to that threshold.
New Moons are the beginning of something. Seeds. Potential. Possibility. The quiet unfolding of what is coming into being.
Yet emergence rarely arrives with certainty.
It often begins with curiosity.
A new perspective.
A possibility you had not considered before.
A feeling that something is shifting, even if you cannot fully explain it yet.
Gemini is symbolised by the Twins.
Not because we are meant to choose one side of ourselves over another, but because part of being human is learning to hold different perspectives at the same time.
The part of us that wants certainty.
And the part of us that is willing to remain open to possibility.
The part of us that wants guarantees.
And the part of us that senses something new is trying to emerge.
The challenge comes when our need for certainty keeps us stuck. When overthinking becomes a way of trying to feel safe. When we convince ourselves we need all the answers before we allow ourselves to move forward.
The medicine of this Gemini New Moon is openness.
Yet openness can feel difficult when certainty has become the way we have learned to feel safe.
Perhaps the invitation isn’t to force yourself to trust.
Perhaps it’s to gently remember that safety can also exist within you.
As we begin to feel safe enough to soften our grip on needing to know, trust starts to grow.
Perhaps the answer isn’t learning how to trust the unknown.
Perhaps it’s learning how to trust yourself in the presence of the unknown.
Trusting that uncertainty does not mean you are lost.
Trusting that you do not need the entire path revealed before you.
Because discovery isn’t something we force.
It is something we allow.
And through openness and trust, emergence begins to unfold naturally.
Perhaps you don’t need more certainty right now.
Perhaps you simply need permission to soften your grip on needing to know.
What if you didn’t need certainty to feel safe?
What if safety didn’t come from having all the answers, but from trusting yourself to navigate what unfolds?
This Moon asks:
• Where am I seeking certainty before allowing myself to move forward?
• What possibilities might become available if I remained open a little longer?
• What would change if I trusted that I don’t need all the answers right now?
If you’ve been feeling pulled between possibilities, changing your mind or feeling uneasy because you don’t know exactly where you’re going, you may simply be standing in the space between what has been and what is emerging.
This Sunday, we gather for our Gemini New Moon Sacred Cacao Circle ~ Emergence.
A space to soften the need to have all the answers.
To reconnect with curiosity and openness.
To reconnect with the inner safety that allows trust to grow.
And to explore what becomes possible when you soften your grip on certainty and allow emergence to unfold.
