This little legend and I finally got along to pick up some rubbish with Trash Mob Canberra. Although there wasn't too much obvious looking trash we picked up hundreds of cigarette butts and small pieces of plastic. Check out their FB page for upcoming opportunities to join in the fun :)

A documentary about Hinewai Nature Reserve and it's manager, Hugh Wilson. Over the last 30 years, 1500-hectares of marginal farmland has been regenerated back into beautiful native forest.

Amazing time at the "Connecting to Country" event Boree Log Cottage today. I was lucky enough to participate in a bush tucker workshop with Adam Shipp from Yurbay. So much to learn from the amazing culture of our indigenous Australians who were are experts in living sustainably and taking care of nature. I am definitely starting a bush tucker section in my garden :)

For Canberra people, from the 24th of April you can have 1 months free travel if using a Myway card. Public transport is always a great option to reduce your carbon emissions :)
