Linda Smillie APD visited Lake Ginninderra College this week to talk about University of Canberra Nutrition and Dietetics and options for high school students 🍎🥑🍠🥚🧀

Today our Health, Medical and Applied Sciences extension course students were thrilled to hear from Dietitian and Lecturer Linda Smilie from our partner who shared her knowledge and explored some of the food myths that commonly trick people 🍔. She also told stories from her career and gave advice about the pathways available to students. What a wonderful way to finish a Wednesday afternoon!

Our very own Elizabeth Low APD was recently featured in Uncover. Elizabeth is currently completing her PhD on the effects of social isolation on diet quality in older people and teaches into the Bachelor of Human Nutrition. Learn more about Elizabeth's journey here:

It took Elizabeth Low four attempts to obtain her first degree – but today, she has five testamurs to her name and is currently completing her PhD at the University of Canberra.
