Totally Balmy is all about natural products to care for your skin. The base ingredient we use in our products is organic Beeswax. Beeswax is one of natures most miraculous ingredients - it lubricates, nourishes, helps your skin retain moisture and with its ultimate healing capabilities, makes it a fantastic ingredient for balms and creams. We complement this by adding the moisturising qualities of
cocoa butter, hemp, coconut & sweet almond oils and vitamin E then blend them together with the aromas and healing qualities of essential oils. Many commercially produced balms & creams that claim to be natural or made from Beeswax can actually contain up to 90% petroleum. These are designed to act as a barrier lubricant, this coats your skin and doesn't allow it to breathe so once its properties have worn off, it can be very dehydrating. This can actually lead to drier skin and the need to constantly apply the product. Everything in the Totally Balmy! range is 100% handmade and all the Balms & Lotions we offer contain at least 60% beeswax.
