Support Workers – Join the Amaze Abilities Team!
Amaze Abilities is growing, and we’re looking for compassionate, experienced and reliable Support Workers to join our team across the Brisbane area.
We support NDIS participants with a range of physical, medical and behavioural support needs and are seeking team members who are confident in delivering high-quality, person-centred care both in the home and within the community.
About the Role
As a Support Worker with Amaze Abilities, your responsibilities may include:
• Providing high-intensity supports such as seizure management, PEG feeding, catheter care, medication administration and behaviour support
• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Supporting community access, participation and transport
• Following individual support plans and participant routines
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
• Communicating effectively with participants, families and the wider support team
To Be Successful, You’ll Have
✔ A minimum of 1 year’s experience in disability support, aged care or high-intensity supports
✔ Experience providing high-intensity or complex supports
✔ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔ Current Blue Card
✔ National Police Check
✔ Current First Aid and CPR
✔ Completion, or willingness to complete, relevant High Intensity Support training/modules
✔ Manual Handling training preferred
✔ Current Australian driver’s licence
✔ Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
✔ Full working rights in Australia
✔ Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), Community Services or equivalent qualification preferred, but not essential
