Yesterday along with other volunteers from Inspiring the Future I spoke with a group of Year 5 and 6 students at Glossodia Public School about my work as a Work Health and Safety Consultant.
The kids were very interested in how safety works and wanted to know what my work involves. They were very keen to try on my hard hat and asked about the biggest safety job I have done.
I was also impressed with the bright colours around the school and the positive messages on the steps. Such a welcoming and encouraging place for students.
Thanks to the school for having me. It was a lovely experience.
