Good news: it's World Chocolate Day 🍫
Bad news: your dog cannot celebrate.

Chocolate toxicity is one of the most common calls vets receive around confectionery holidays — and it's no joke.

Theobromine (found in all chocolate) is toxic to dogs and cats. The darker the chocolate, the higher the risk.

Signs to watch for:
• Restlessness or hyperactivity
• Vomiting and diarrhoea
• Increased thirst and urination
• Muscle tremors or seizures
