On New Yearโs Day this year, I was housesitting in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. During the morning I was watering the garden and came across this small cracked shell. When I found it, I intuitively felt its message immediately: โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ

Living in the city itโs easy to feel disconnected from โnatureโ. I was raised in landscapes that are man-made and purpose-built and that blinded me to the rhythms and cycles of the plants, trees, birds and animals that live and thrive within our human-centric environment. โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ

Itโs in every moment and itโs part of who we are. A house plant becomes a friend and a wealth of information, a bird on the garden fence conveys a direct intuitive message that just makes sense and the turning of the seasons brings a new understanding to the cycles of life. โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ
