One year ago, we opened our doors with a vision to create a space for healing, movement and genuine care… and today we’re so proud of what Holism has grown into.

Marge is showing us a deep chest release technique targeting the pec minor using a trigger ball + long foam roller combination 🙌🏼

This muscle can be difficult to access on your own, but the angle of the foam roller combined with the firmness of the ball helps create a deeper release through the front of the chest.

Tennis elbow rehab isn’t one-size-fits-all...

Marge is showing us a guide for different rehab phases for tennis elbow (lateral elbow pain)—where you start depends on your pain levels and how reactive the tendon is.

Acute: painful, irritated → calm it (isometrics)
Subacute: settling → introduce load (eccentrics)
Chronic: more stable → build strength (full range)
Progression: low pain → return to normal strength + function

You don’t have to start at phase 1—meet your body where it’s at.

Quick guide to the steps:

Isometric holds – 30-sec x 3
Eccentrics – 3-sec lower, 8–12 reps
Concentric (3-sec) + eccentric (3-sec) – light weight, 10–12 reps
Wrist extension – 10–15 reps x 3

We used ~1kg in this video
Recommended: ~1–3kg depending on your strength, pain and irritation levels

Key with tendons (like tennis elbow):
Start light
Load gradually
Stay consistent

It’s about loading the tendon without flaring it up. Rest alone usually doesn’t fix it long-term—tendons need the right amount of load to adapt and heal.

These are general guidelines only—your injury, history, and lifestyle all matter. If pain persists, we recommend seeing a physio for a personalised rehab plan to get the best results and avoid setbacks.
