Participate in the review of Continous Glucose Monitoring for People living with Type 2 diabetes via NDSS!

Have your Say.

How you Can Make a Difference
MSAC is running a consultation process to help inform their decision, and your voice matters. Any member of the public—including individuals, consumers, and carers—can take part and have their say. The survey is open until 12 June 2026, so be sure to submit your response before then.

If you'd like to share your thoughts, here are a few ideas to consider:
The need for access – Why CGM access, including Dexcom ONE+, is important and how it would benefit you or others living with type 2 diabetes who are insulin dependent.
Your personal experience – How living with type 2 diabetes impacts your physical and mental health, family and social life, and work productivity.
Your insights can help shape the future of CGM access for people living with type 2 diabetes.

Find and participate in consultations run by the Office of Health Technology

Happy World Diabetes Day
We celebrate on the 14th of November as it is the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who co-discovered insulin in 1922.

Without this discovery life for those living with Type 1 diabetes and many with Type 2 diabetes would be very different.

Please be aware of the signs you may have diabetes:
- frequent urination
- weight loss
- faitgue
- excessive thirst
Please do not ignore these symptoms and seek medical assistance.

I also want to say how much I love to support individuals living with diabetes to find ways to improve management and live well.

If you are someone that needs help with their diabetes please reach out to book an appointment.

Happy World Diabetes Day!!!!
