Last night I had a beautiful moment of peace looking at this lunar halo. Such magnificence makes me feel small and insignificant in a lovely way, and I’m grateful to be here to witness it. Makes me think of all the patients that say to me they feel small and insignificant in a negative way; Oncology World can make you feel that way at times, for sure. But look at this moon. It’s the same moon, but it’s glow is created by the light reflecting off millions of ice particles in the stratosphere at a perfect 22 degree angle to reach exactly where I’m standing in this moment. You are the same. You don’t realise it, but you glow through everything and everyone around you. You may be small, but you are iridescent. Don’t forget that. Tanya 💜
