Who is my private studio designed for? Women who want a more individual approach to movement and strength.

It may be right for you if you’re:
✨ Returning to exercise after time away
✨ New to strength training
✨ Returning from injury or managing an ongoing injury
✨ Wanting to build strength with individual guidance
✨ Looking for 1:1 Reformer Pilates
✨ Prefer a quieter, more private space - no busy gym

With a background in physiotherapy, I bring an understanding of movement, injury and exercise into every session — while tailoring your training to where you are now.

I’m currently taking new 1:1 Personal Training and Reformer Pilates clients in Caulfield.

Feeling hungrier than you used to? Or finding your appetite is suddenly all over the place?

During perimenopause, it’s easy to assume hormones are responsible for everything.

But appetite can be influenced by much more than hormones alone.

😴 Poor sleep can leave you feeling hungrier and reaching for quick energy.

🧠 Stress can change both your appetite and the foods you feel like eating.

🏃‍♀️ Changes in activity can affect how much fuel your body needs.

⏰ Different routines can mean longer gaps between meals, skipped meals or more unplanned eating.

And yes, hormonal changes can be part of the picture too.

Rather than fighting your appetite, start by looking at what might be driving it.

Better sleep, regular meals, enough protein, movement and managing stress can all help bring a little more consistency back.

Your body may be changing. Your approach can change with it. 🤍

You don’t need to get 'fit-ready' before you start.

You don’t need to lose weight first.
You don’t need to improve your fitness first.
And you definitely don’t need to know what you’re doing.

For many women, getting back into exercise can feel harder than it used to. Your body may feel different. Your confidence may have changed. You may be managing work, family, stress or other responsibilities. And walking into a gym can feel like a big step.

That’s exactly where the right support can help.

Strength, fitness and confidence come with the right support - a program that suits you and your time, so you can begin at your own pace.

Start where you are. We build from there. 💛

❌ MYTH: Lifting weights is dangerous during menopause.

Actually, strength training can be one of the most valuable forms of exercise through midlife and beyond.

🏋️ Helps maintain muscle and strength
🦴 Supports bone health
⚖️ Improves balance and stability
💪 Makes everyday movement easier
✨ Helps you stay strong and independent as you age

The key isn’t avoiding weights.

It’s learning to lift with good technique, appropriate resistance and gradual progression.

Menopause isn’t a reason to stop lifting.

It’s a very good reason to start. 🤍

Trying to lose weight? Eating less and less isn’t necessarily the answer especially in midlife.

Yes, weight loss requires a calorie deficit - but how much of a deficit matters too. An overly aggressive deficit can make it harder to fuel your day, train well, recover and maintain valuable muscle.

Cutting food too aggressively can leave you:

• low in energy
• struggling with hunger
• recovering poorly from exercise
• finding it harder to maintain muscle

And maintaining muscle becomes increasingly important in midlife — for strength, function, metabolism and healthy ageing.

Rather than simply eating less, look at what you’re eating.

🥩 Enough protein across the day
🥗 Plenty of vegetables and fibre
🍚 Carbohydrates to support training and recovery
🥑 Healthy fats
🍽️ A calorie intake that supports gradual, sustainable weight loss without unnecessarily under-fuelling your body

The goal is to lose weight ( or body fat which is different) while supporting muscle, energy and recovery — not simply to eat as little as possible.

There isn’t one calorie target or approach that suits every woman. Your activity, training, current intake, goals and lifestyle all need to be considered to determine what a calorie deficit looks like for you!

You don’t need to navigate it alone. Getting the right guidance can make ALL the difference.

How strong are you — really? 💪

Strength isn’t only about how much weight you can lift.

It’s also about how well your body supports you in everyday life.

✔️ Getting up from a chair
✔️ Balance and stability
✔️ Grip strength
✔️ Lower-body strength
✔️ Mobility and movement

These are all important markers of how well we stay capable, confident and independent as we get older.

And the interesting question is…

When did you last actually measure them?

Healthy ageing isn’t just about staying active. It’s about knowing where you are now — and what’s worth working on for the years ahead.

Hitting that afternoon energy slump? ☕️🥱

Before automatically reaching for another coffee, take a look at lunch.

A lunch that’s too light — or mostly carbohydrates — can leave you searching for energy again by 3pm.

Try building lunch around:
🥚 Protein — eggs, chicken, tuna, tofu or Greek yoghurt
🥗 Fibre & colour — salad, vegetables or fruit
🥑 Healthy fats — avocado, nuts, seeds or olive oil
🍠 Quality carbs — wholegrain bread, quinoa, brown rice or sweet potato

Quick and easy lunch ideas include:

Wholegrain toast with scrambled eggs, avocado and cherry tomatoes

A tuna and salad wrap with hummus

A chicken, quinoa and roasted vegetable bowl with avocado

Leftover roast chicken with microwave brown rice and bagged salad

A tofu and vegetable stir-fry with quinoa

A chickpea salad with cucumber, tomato, feta and olive oil

A baked potato topped with tuna, cottage cheese and salad

A simple snack plate with boiled eggs, wholegrain crackers, hummus, vegetables and fruit

A satisfying lunch can make a noticeable difference to how you feel later in the day.

Before the next coffee… check what was on your plate at lunch. ☕️➡️🥗

You’ve decided it’s time to start.
But walking into that first session still feels a little nerve-racking.

What if I’m not fit enough?
What if I can’t keep up?
What if I feel completely out of place?

Your first session with me isn’t about proving anything.

It’s about you.

We talk about where you are now, what you want to achieve and what feels comfortable. Then we start moving — at a pace that feels right for you.

No crowded gym.
No judgement.
No pressure to keep up with anyone else.

Just personalised support in a private space, and the beginning of feeling stronger, more capable and more confident in your body.

Feeling nervous is completely normal.
You just need somewhere that makes starting feel easier. 🤍
