“I believe every person deserves to be supported with dignity, patience and respect, and I am committed to providing person-centred care that helps people maintain their independence and quality of life.”
I am currently looking to transition into the aged care sector after many years of running my own small business. While my professional background has been in self-employment, caring for others has always been at the centre of my life. I bring with me over 23 years of parenting experience and, more recently, over 12 months of providing full-time care for a seriously ill family member. During this time I supported all aspects of his daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, emotional support, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment. This experience strengthened my patience, compassion, and commitment to supporting people with dignity and respect.
Through running my own business for over 16 years, I have developed a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. I pride myself on being dependable, organised, and someone who genuinely cares about the wellbeing of others.
I hold a current First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, National Police Check, and a QLD Class C Driver’s Licence with my own reliable vehicle.
I look forward to connecting with our senior community members and developing genuine connections.
