Social group with these glorious Teens Monkeys 🙈 ❤️

It’s hard not to feel so proud of how far they have come, and the beautiful friendships and support they give each other.

At Cheeky Monkeys, we employ a trauma-informed approach and commend this remarkable grandmother for her tireless efforts on behalf of her grandson. We strongly encourage all our valued families to read and sign this petition, which advocates for the rights of children affected by domestic violence situations.

Building trust to try new things is a big part of what we do. Trust that we will help, that we won’t judge or tease if they make a mistake. That we make mistakes too.

That’s why we do so much floor time activity work. Building that relationship for collaborative play and co-regulation occurs more organically when you are moving in their space, rather than insisting they join yours at the big table.

Plus it’s super comfortable on that squishy fluffy mellow mat. 😉
