๐ผ 40 Years of Growing Hope
This year, weโre celebrating 40 years of Daffodil Day and the incredible progress made for people affected by cancer.
When Daffodil Day first took root in 1986, the 5-year cancer survival rate was around 46%. Today, thanks in part to the generosity of communities supporting cancer research, that figure has risen to 72%. ๐
Thatโs 40 years of research, hope and people coming together to improve cancer outcomes.
Weโve come a long way โ but there is still more to do. We hope the next 40 years of cancer research brings us closer to a future where everyone diagnosed with cancer can survive their diagnosis and receive a treatment plan thatโs right for them.
๐ผ Together, we can keep growing hope.
