✨ MY BIGGEST NDIS PLAN % INCREASE TO DATE ✨

A 688% increase in NDIS plan funding. 🤍

This one means a lot.

We took this case all the way to the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART), advocating alongside the participant through a formal review process involving evidence, submissions and responding to lawyers.

And we achieved an incredible outcome.

This is officially the biggest percentage increase in plan funding I’ve achieved to date and moments like this remind me exactly why I started I Want Support.

Running my own business while working as a Support Coordinator comes with a huge amount of responsibility, but being able to stand beside participants and their families, advocate for what support and therapy they genuinely need and see that advocacy translate into life-changing support, makes me incredibly proud of what I do.

I’m proud of the business I’ve built.

I’m proud to be a Support Coordinator.

And most importantly, I’m so proud that another family now has the support they fought so hard for. 🤍

2 years of I Want Support 🤍

I started I Want Support because of my own lived experience. I knew what it felt like to navigate the NDIS as a parent and to not have the support, guidance or understanding I needed at the time.

Two years later, the best part of what I do is knowing I can make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

Seeing firsthand the power of early intervention and watching children grow and progress with the right supports in place is genuinely the best feeling in the world.

I also love the community of families that has grown around I Want Support. So many of us share similar lived experiences, and there is something really special about being able to understand and support one another.

I’m so grateful to every family who has trusted me to be part of their child’s journey. I truly feel like I’ve found my life’s calling. I feel so lucky to do something I genuinely love every day while making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families. ✨

When my son was diagnosed with autism, everything changed. My priorities shifted, and I stepped away from the corporate world to become his advocate, therapist, researcher and biggest supporter.

For a long time, I felt like I’d lost my identity.

The plans I’d worked so hard for suddenly looked completely different. I went from building a corporate career to learning an entirely new world of therapies, appointments, reports and advocacy.

But looking back now, I don’t see what I lost.

I see everything I gained.

Those years gave me knowledge no textbook ever could. They taught me resilience, compassion, and what families really need when they’re navigating the NDIS.

Today, I have the privilege of walking alongside other families as an NDIS Support Coordinator, helping them navigate a path I once had to find on my own.

This isn’t just my job.

It’s personal. 🤍

After taking this case to the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART), we achieved everything we asked for on behalf of this participant.

To be the support I wish I had. 🫶🏻 I started because I know firsthand how overwhelming the NDIS journey can feel.

When my children first started on the NDIS, I didn’t have the support or guidance I needed and I remember how lonely and confusing it felt at times.

That’s why this business means so much to me. I don’t just understand the process professionally, I live it personally every single day.

The greatest part of what I do is being able to support other mums through the ups, downs, questions and advocacy that comes with navigating the NDIS for your child.
