🌿 I AM CONNECTED 🌿
There’s something deeply calming about stepping away from the noise of everyday life and reconnecting with nature.
Grounding can be as simple as taking off your shoes and standing on the earth, sitting beneath a tree, placing your hands on its trunk, walking slowly through the bush or garden, or simply sitting outside and becoming aware of what’s around you. 🌳
Take a few slow breaths. Feel the ground supporting your body. Notice the warmth of the sun, the breeze on your skin, the sounds of birds and leaves, and the textures beneath your hands or feet. Instead of thinking about what you need to do next, bring your attention back to this moment.
Practices like these can help settle the nervous system and create a sense of calm, safety and presence. Spending time in nature is also associated with reduced stress and improved wellbeing. 💚
For me, that’s what this image represents: calming the mind, releasing stress, restoring balance, renewing energy and feeling grounded and protected.
And you don’t have to literally hug a tree — although you absolutely can! 🤗🌳 Sometimes just five or ten quiet minutes outside, breathing deeply and consciously noticing the natural world, can be a beautiful reset.
✨ Slow down.
✨ Breathe.
✨ Feel your feet on the earth.
✨ Notice what’s around you.
✨ Let yourself simply be.
Pure Sensations — I am connected. 🌿✨
