I have been working on the coaster holder for a couple of days. The coasters were a little bigger than the width of the holder so I had to carve it out to make them fit. While adding the named piece to the front of the holder 🫤 it broke, so I had to fashion a new one.
Now the set is ready for the kiln.

My new favourite thing. Plein Air Painting/Drawing. Our group had a class with Ben Winspear at Vintners Sectet and then I took a class with Kaz Stanton in Bundaberg.
Next project will be making a travel box to house my paints and canvases/ or watercolours and paper.

After much carving of the pumpkin....I finally got it over the post.
I need to rethink how to get my totem pole pieces around the pole..... perhaps joining them somehow after firing????
