💛 R U OK? Day is a reminder to check in, not just today, but all year round.

Sometimes a simple question can open the door to an important conversation. Taking a moment to ask how someone is really going, listening without judgement, and letting them know you're there can mean more than you realise. 💬🤝

As we get closer to R U OK? Day on Thursday 10 September, take a moment to think about the people around you, your friends, family, colleagues, participants and support networks.

💛 Ask the question.
👂 Take the time to listen.
🤝 Let them know you're there.
🌱 Keep checking in.

Because one small conversation can make a big difference.

Support is more than a service. It’s about connection.

Great support starts with getting to know the person, their interests, goals, routines, choices and what makes them feel comfortable and confident. 🤝

Sometimes it’s a conversation over coffee ☕, a laugh during a community outing, or simply having someone there who listens.

At Link to Life, we believe meaningful support is built on trust, respect and genuine connection. Because when people feel heard and supported, they can feel more confident to live life their way. 🌿✨

📸 Behind the scenes at Link to Life! 💙

Professional headshots might look polished once they’re finished, but there’s always a little fun, laughter and “one more take” behind the scenes! 😂

We loved getting the team together and capturing the people behind the support. From getting the perfect pose to trying not to laugh between photos, it’s all part of the process. ✨

Because behind every support, there’s a real person who brings their own personality, passion and care to the team. 🤝

Here’s a little look behind the camera! 📸💙

💙 Self-care isn’t selfish.... It’s part of looking after yourself.

Sometimes self-care is getting enough sleep. 😴
Sometimes it’s stepping outside for some fresh air. 🌿
Sometimes it’s talking to someone you trust. 💬
And sometimes it’s simply giving yourself permission to slow down. 🫶

There are so many ways to care for your physical, emotional, mental, social and overall well-being, and what works for one person may look completely different for another.

✨ Your wellbeing matters. Make time for the things that help you feel your best.

🌟 International Youth Day | 12 August 2026 🌟

Every young person deserves the opportunity to feel confident, supported and in control of their own future. 💙

For younger participants, support is about more than completing daily tasks. It’s about creating opportunities to build independence, discover interests, develop confidence, strengthen social connections and work towards goals that are meaningful to them.

We believe young people should have the freedom to make choices, try new things, learn from experience, and be supported in becoming the person they want to be.

Whether it’s getting involved in the community, learning new skills, building friendships, exploring hobbies or working towards greater independence, the right support can help young people take those next steps with confidence.

Because their goals matter. Their choices matter. Their future matters. ✨

Not all disabilities are visible. 🩵

Some disabilities may not be immediately noticeable, but that doesn’t make someone’s experiences, challenges, or support needs any less real. 🫶

Disability can affect everyone differently, which is why individualised, person-centred support matters. It’s about listening, understanding and supporting each person in a way that works for them. ✨

Let’s move beyond assumptions 🚫 and remember that you can’t always see what someone is experiencing.

Everyone deserves to feel understood, respected, included and supported. 🌈🤍🙌

✨ Happy Saturday ✨
Weekends are a chance to pause, reflect, and recognise how far you’ve come. 💚 Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress worth celebrating.

Take a moment today to believe in yourself, embrace your strengths, and remember that your journey is uniquely yours. You are capable, resilient, and deserving of every opportunity that comes your way.

What’s one thing you’re proud of yourself for this week? Share it in the comments, we’d love to celebrate with you! 🌿

Friendship has the power to brighten days, build confidence, and create a true sense of belonging. 🌟

This International Day of Friendship, we're celebrating the connections that make life richer, whether it's sharing a coffee ☕, enjoying a community outing 🌳, trying something new together 🎨, or simply having someone who listens. 🤝

For many people living with disability, meaningful friendships can have a lasting impact on wellbeing, independence, and quality of life. That's why we believe support is about more than completing daily tasks, it's about creating opportunities for genuine connections, inclusion, and shared experiences. 🌈

Today, let's celebrate the people who make us smile, stand beside us, and remind us that everyone deserves friendship and belonging. 💛

Tag a friend who makes your world a little brighter. 🌼
