Sound and Vibration: Compatible phones, smartwatches, and tablets will make a loud 10-second siren sound and vibrate.

Override Settings: The alert overrides 'silent' and 'do not disturb' device modes.

No Action Needed: The screen will display a clear "AusAlert test" system notification; no action or response is required.

Safety Precaution: Because critical alerts cannot be silenced via phone menus, individuals needing to conceal a device (such as domestic violence survivors) were advised to turn devices completely off or switch to aeroplane mode prior to the test.

If receiving an AusAlert test message will disrupt you or cause you or someone you know to feel unsafe, turn off your mobile devices or switch them to aeroplane mode before the scheduled test time in your location and leave them off for at least one.

Yesterday we closed our office and reconnected as a team. What a great day it was!! Team building activities and having the staff connect new and old. Some great laughs, a prize of a fart bomb which went wrong!! (Not a good prize idea Bea!!!) but all in all a great day and some stories we will all remember.

What a great day out in the community with our support worker Aleesha and client. We love how Ren was able to give us a movie review... I (Bea) am not a fan of DC (Marvel fan here) but can appreciate the movie review Ren has given. Yay for school holidays!!

Happy NAIDOC Week! 🖤💛❤️ This year marks an incredible milestone as we celebrate —honouring five decades of First Nations culture, resilience, and excellence.

As I post I want to acknowledge the Kaurna people, the Traditional Custodians of this land, and pay my respects to Elders past and present.

I continue to learn many things from a very special Koori Man in my family's life. A special shout out to him for continuing to teach and challenge me.

Today is a delicious day!!!

Happy World Chocolate day!!

Let's do a quick learning lesson!!!

The origins and history behind this day span back centuries:

The Date: July 7th marks the date chocolate was allegedly first brought to Europe from the Americans, where it had previously been cultivated by ancient Mesoamerican civilizations like the Aztecs and Mayans.

Evolution: Originally consumed by indigenous cultures as a bitter, spiced drink, it wasn't until later innovations that chocolate became the sweet, solid treat we enjoy today.

The First Chocolate Bar: Some histories also link the July date to the 1847 invention of the first modern solid chocolate bar by British chocolatier Joseph Fry.

Enjoy Emma and Bea being silly eating chocolate. Bea has turtle shaped chocolates and Emma good old Timtams.
