🌟 UMBRELLA PARENT CONNECT – 26 🌟

At Umbrella Care Australia, we believe that supporting a child with autism begins with empowering the people who know and love them best – their parents and carers.

That's why we're excited to share Umbrella Parent Connect – 26, a parent training series developed and delivered by experienced clinicians from our sister company, Umbrella Therapy Services.

Supporting a child with autism can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also come with many questions, challenges, and uncertainties. Through this practical and evidence-based program, parents and carers will gain valuable knowledge, strategies, and confidence to better support their child's development and wellbeing.

Topics include:
✅ Understanding Autism
✅ Sensory Processing
✅ Supporting Communication
✅ Motor Planning and Play
✅ Executive Functioning
✅ Understanding the Why Behind Behaviour
✅ Feeding Challenges and Mealtime Support
✅ Accessing Helpful Supports and Resources

The sessions are delivered by highly experienced Occupational Therapists with extensive experience supporting children and families across Tasmania, Australia, and internationally. Participants will walk away with practical strategies that can be applied immediately at home, school, and in the community.
