Following an incident on a WA Mine Site on the 29th June 2026 the mining industry tragically lost another colleague.
Ben, beloved husband of Brigitte and devoted Father to five children leaves behind a void that will never be filled. Ben and Brigitte met at work and from the second their eyes met they knew they had found their person. With deep appreciation for finding each other Ben and Brigitte loved and lived every day with joy and pursuing their shared hopes and dreams for their family including building their self-designed home.
As a Father, Ben was always there; from the footy pitch and soccer sideline, helping with homework, teaching the older children to drive and holding his daughter when she got dumped for the first time. The stability of Ben was the foundation of the family. His Dad jokes and unique laughter will be forever missed at the dining table.
Professionally Ben was a General Manager and Site Senior Executive. Safety was never just a slogan for Ben, he worked hard and genuinely cared that everyone went home at the end of their shift. He was steadfast in his integrity, never wavered and always did the right thing.
Ben led with his heart and was driven by a deep care for people, he never shied away from a challenge and was highly respected for his commitment to health, safety and the wellbeing of all.
This is his legacy that will continue to live on through everyone who knew and loved Ben.
With open hearts we are asking you to support the Robinson Family as they navigate life without Ben. Every donation, no matter how large or small is a gesture of compassion and care, and a reminder that in our mining community we look after each other and ensure that no family faces devastating loss alone.
