🚆 Accessible travel just got more affordable

From 1 June 2026 until 1 January 2027, public transport fares across Victoria will be 50% off for all passengers, including both full fare and concession travellers.

Whether you're travelling on Melbourne’s trains, trams and buses, or regional trains, coaches and bus services, you’ll be able to enjoy half-price travel across the state.

For many people with disability, more affordable and accessible public transport can make everyday activities, appointments, social outings and community participation easier.

Victoria’s public transport network also provides a range of accessibility supports to help make journeys more inclusive and easier to navigate, including:

Today at our Mulgrave office, we hosted a Lunch ‘n’ Learn session introducing the basics of Auslan 👐

A big thank you to our Home & Living Coordinator Hannah for leading such an engaging, hands-on session. With a Bachelor of Extended Linguistics, a Diploma in Auslan and experience working within the Deaf community, Hannah brought valuable insight and practical learning to the team.

The session covered:

👋 Everyday greetings
💬 Common words
🔤 The Auslan alphabet

It was an interactive and relaxed session where the team got involved, asked questions and had a go at something new in a supportive environment.

This National Road Safety Week, we stand together for safer roads across Australia.

We remember lives lost, support those impacted by road trauma and stand behind the message that road safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Traffic trauma is the leading cause of death for children under 15 and the second leading cause for Australians aged 15–24. Every year, around 1,300 lives are lost and more than 40,000 people are seriously injured on Australian roads.
