If you or someone you know is seeking support, strategies or a place to connect with other parents and carers of neurodiverse primary school aged children our Everyday Feelings program starts in October. The cost is $300 (rebates may be available) and sessions run for 2 hours over 6 weeks in the evenings. Spaces are limited to 10 participants.

Everyday Feelings™ is a program designed for parents and carers of neurodivergent primary school-aged children. Please pass along to anyone that may be interested.

Delivered online during the evening over six weeks in Term 4, the program has been designed to be accessible and affordable, including for families living in rural and remote communities. The program is facilitated by qualified Psychologists and provides parents and carers with practical, evidence-informed strategies to support the wellbeing and development of their neurodivergent kids.

Guidestar is excited to offer our Everyday Feelings™ program, designed for parents and carers of neurodivergent primary school-aged children.

Delivered online during the evening over six weeks in Term 4, the program has been designed to be accessible and affordable, including for families living in rural and remote communities. The program is facilitated by qualified Psychologists and provides parents and carers with practical, evidence-informed strategies to support the wellbeing and development of their neurodivergent kids.

Everyday Feelings™ is the first component of a broader consumer-led, neurodiversity-affirming, multilevel mental health prevention framework that Guidestar is developing for neurodivergent children, adolescents and young adults. The framework aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing by supporting children, families and the broader environments in which neurodivergent young people live, learn and develop.

While progress has been made, many LGBTQIA+ young people still experience bullying, discrimination, exclusion and isolation.

Too many young people continue to feel unsafe at school, unsupported at home or invisible in their communities. Representation, belonging and connection remain as important as ever.

Wear It Purple continues to exist because every young person deserves to feel safe, celebrated and empowered at school, at home, at work and in their community.
