Another awesome day with awesome people 😀
With spring in full flight we were lucky today and got to see a cool moment in nature 🌱
While we walked along Look at Me Now headland we spotted a large Bearded Dragon posturing near the path, bobbing up and down and flicking is tail, I knew there must be a other near by, and just down the hill there was another, much larger Bearded Dragon posturing and showing off. Thinking this was a territorial battle we stopped to watch in awe, its not often you get to see a Bearded Dragon in the wild, let alone two!
As we watched the BIG guy kept coming closer and closer, then when the smaller of the two realised it was out matched it slowly crept into the taller grass, we assumed it was hiding to avoid any physical altercation with the much larger one, who had his beard out on full display, bobbing and flicking his tail, he looked like he meant business. 🦎🦖
Once he was close enough he ran full speed towards the smaller Dragon, and we thought oh no this could be trouble!
Annnnd it turns out the weren't fighting, they were flirting, so we moved on and gave them space 🤣
It was an amazing experience, its not every day you get to see such a rare natural event 🦖🦎🌱
