Are we teaching young people how to look after themselves?
That question became the biggest reason we created our Youth P.A.C.T Program last year, and this year PACT is back.
We put so much energy into helping young people achieve, fit in, keep busy, perform at school, play sport and prepare for what comes next.
All important things.
But I also think we need to teach them how to actually look after themselves.
How to start the day well.
How to move.
How to fuel themselves.
How to prioritise sleep and recovery.
How to manage their energy.
How to build routines instead of relying on motivation.
And how to recognise the things that help them feel and function at their best.
None of this is revolutionary.
That’s kind of the point.
PACT is a 10 week opportunity for young people to practise these basics and build simple habits around the things that matter to them.
We help them think about what they want to improve, how they want to feel and what they’re working towards.
Then they choose habits that are simple, achievable and easy to repeat.
We track them, check in, talk about the wins and challenges and make adjustments along the way.
The goal isn’t perfection.
And it isn’t really about completing a 10 week challenge either.
It’s about giving young people a simple system they understand and can return to when life gets busy or things start to drift.
Better routines.
More energy.
Greater awareness.
More confidence.
Simple tools they can actually use.
Small shifts. Big changes.
If you have a young person who you think could benefit from PACT, or you’d simply like to know more, send us a DM or email.
Happy to have a chat and see whether it’s the right fit. 🧡
