About a week ago, I was tagged by in a post about women who inspire other women.

I’ll be completely honest… I can’t remember exactly what I was supposed to do next. 😂

But it did make me think.

There are women in my life — personally and professionally — who have encouraged me, challenged me, supported my business, shared my work, listened when I needed it, opened doors, or simply reminded me of what I was capable of.

And sometimes they probably had no idea they were doing it.

So rather than just tagging “inspiring women”, I want to start something slightly different.

I want to celebrate women stepping into their power — and the women who help them do it.

Tag a woman who has had an impact on you.

Maybe she:

✨ backed you when you were doubting yourself
✨ supported your business
✨ shared an opportunity
✨ told you something you needed to hear
✨ encouraged you to take a risk
✨ showed you what was possible
✨ or has simply been a bloody good friend.

Then, if you feel like it, keep it going.

Tag the women who have helped you rise .

Because imagine what happens when women stop playing small, start recognising their own strengths, and actively help another woman recognise hers.

There is room for all of us to rise.

Here are a few women who have made an impact on me…riverinaconnect coly.motelkpptmindfulmovement .hall anne_conroy9 habitologist, nicolamoras, and many many more.

Do you follow me on instagram?
SAME AMANDA. A CLEARER FOCUS.

Over time, my work—and my instagram—have evolved.

Anti-inflammatory nutrition remains an important part of what I do, but it no longer tells the whole story or clearly describes the women I’m here to help.

My focus is women aged approximately 40–65 who are navigating perimenopause, menopause and the many overlapping changes that can happen through midlife.

Here you’ll find practical, evidence-based support for:

• perimenopause and menopause
• gut health and inflammation
• endometriosis and pelvic health
• muscle, metabolism and healthy ageing
• realistic, neurodivergent-friendly nutrition strategies

No perfect diets. No overwhelming rules. Just credible information and realistic steps that can work alongside busy lives, changing bodies and fluctuating capacity.

So, while the account name is changing, I’m still the same Amanda—an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Menopause Coaching Specialist committed to helping women understand their bodies and feel stronger, clearer and more confident through midlife.

My facebook also shares what is going on locally in Coleambally with my clinics and Vitality. Sometimes content will similar but not always

If you know someone that you think my page my help, please share!

🫛 Homemade Almond Butter = Anti-Inflammatory Power! 🥄

I just whipped up my own almond butter and wow… nothing beats the creamy, nutty goodness of homemade! 💛

Almonds aren’t just tasty—they’re packed with:
✨ Healthy fats to support heart health
✨ Vitamin E & antioxidants that fight inflammation
✨ Magnesium for muscles, bones & relaxation
✨ Protein & fiber to keep you full and balanced

Making it at home means no added sugars or oils, just pure almond goodness. Spread it on some some apple, swirl it in yogurt, or enjoy straight off the spoon (no judgment here 😉).

Your body—and your taste buds—will thank you!

⚠️ Product warnings updated for GLP-1 RA class⚠️

*Content advice – this post contains reference to su***de*

We have updated the product warnings for GLP-1 and dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonists for two separate safety issues.

This relatively new and high-profile class of medicines is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus and/or obesity.

Medicines in the GLP-1 RA class currently marketed in Australia are:
• Ozempic (semaglutide)
• Wegovy (semaglutide)
• Saxenda (liraglutide)
• Trulicity (dulaglutide)
• Mounjaro (tirzepatide)

1. Potential risk of suicidal thoughts
Product warnings across the GLP-1 RA class of medicines have been aligned to ensure consistent information regarding the potential risk of suicidal thoughts or behaviours.

The updates follow investigations by TGA and other international regulators.

Patients taking any of these medicines should tell their health professional if they experience new or worsening depression, suicidal thoughts or any unusual changes in mood or behaviour.

If you or anyone you know needs help, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

2. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and contraception
Our investigation into the potential for reduced effectiveness of oral contraception when first taking or increasing the dose of Mounjaro (tirzepatide) has found that this association could not be ruled out.

As a precautionary measure, the product warnings for tirzepatide have been updated to include further advice for patients using oral contraceptives. Patients taking tirzepatide are advised to switch to a non-oral contraceptive or add a barrier method of contraception for 4 weeks after first taking the medicine and for 4 weeks after each increase in the dose.

None of the GLP-1 RAs should be used during pregnancy and individuals of childbearing potential are advised to use effective contraception during treatment with a GLP-1 RA.
