We hold Kirtan events seasonally at Lionheart to bring the community together and uplift the collective energy.

This winter solstice occasion was potent.

The mantras rang throughout the studio sending positive vibrations into the hearts of all present.

It was one to remember and weโ€™d like to extend a huge thank you to all those involved in making this happen.

Winter Solstice Kirtan & Ceremonial Cacao ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This was a powerful evening of meditative mantras and heart connection.

๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ เฟŠ ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—›๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ | ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ผ โ€ข ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ฎ โ€ข ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ โ€ข ๐—˜๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐˜† brought us deeper into the heart space through the sacred plant medicine Cacao from Soma.

We then journeyed through ancient Sanskrit mantras each with a unique feeling and intention behind the words and syllables.

Did you know that Sanskrit is one of the few languages that when captured with cymatic imagery produces beautiful symmetrical geometric patterns?

A huge thank you for everyone involved in the cocreation of this beautiful evening.

Here are four tips to enhance your yoga practice:

1. Slow down intentionally
2. Breathe through the nose
3. Pause between asana
4. Allow the body to integrate and assimilate what has been practised
