Red Rock Party! ❤️

On Thursday, our participants and staff had the best time coming together for our Red Rock Party to raise awareness for Red Nose Day.

From plenty of laughs to some serious competition, Pin the Red Nose on the Crocodile was a huge hit. 🐊👃

🎂💛 HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA! 💛🎂

Today we’re celebrating the wonderful Amanda! 🥳

We’ve had the pleasure of supporting Amanda since July 2019, and it’s been amazing to be part of her journey over the past seven years.

Amanda loves a good chat, a laugh, and meeting new people. Whether she’s out and about in the community, catching up with friends, or trying something new, she always enjoys making connections and getting involved.

Over the years, we’ve watched Amanda grow in confidence, achieve important goals, gain employment, and continue building an active and fulfilling life. It’s been a privilege to support her along the way and celebrate the many milestones she has achieved.

Amanda, thank you for being such a valued member of the Better Connections family. We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished and look forward to many more adventures, chats, and laughs ahead!

Staff Spotlight: Meet Byron! 👋

When he’s not enjoying some AC/DC, you’ll find Byron out and about enjoying the best of the outdoors, from walking through the bush to feeling the sand between his toes at the beach.

Byron loves having a laugh with our clients, getting out into the community and staying active. His positive energy and love for a good time make him a valued part of the Better Connections team.

What an amazing achievement! 🚴‍♂️ Support Worker Byron and his participant took on the Top End Gran Fondo, the NT’s biggest cycling event, which brings together riders of all abilities to challenge themselves and enjoy the beautiful Top End.

Taking on this challenge together, showing incredible determination, teamwork and community spirit. What a wonderful achievement! 👏💪🚴‍♂️

Meet Browny, one of our amazing Team Leaders NT!

Originally from Samoa and now calling Australia home for the past 16 years, Browny brings a wealth of experience, a calm and positive attitude, and a genuine passion for supporting others. 💜

Outside of work, Browny is happiest outdoors especially fishing, camping, travelling and spending time with his family. 🎣🏕️

We’re so lucky to have you as part of the Better Connections team, Browny! 🙌
