A collection of thoughts for my lady who is tired of putting everything before her to make life easier and also knows it’s her job to change that….damn.

Which one felt a little too personal?

I would back my husband 150% of the time and one of his talents and gifts is the vision for creating beautiful homes.

So we took a few gambles and they completely pivoted our world.

Have some people been unhappy with our decisions. 100%. Do they understand us and why we are doing it definitely not. Have we contemplated all the possibilities also 100%. Do we know we can only do what we are feeling is right right now- yes.

We went from beautiful two story to to pack er up we moving into new build with huge yard after holiday, to change of plans we are selling her and have no idea what we are doing.
To let’s hang out here for a bit and because neither of us can not work let’s have an adventure, still work, homeschool and renovate a builders dream…. Oh and one of us is doing an iron man for their 40th… not me 😳

If you’re like us and have no idea what the heck you’re doing but following the nudges follow welcome to the chaos 🤍

You’ve been told to manage symptoms without ever being taught to understand, interpret or be curious about them.

Not every feeling needs fixing is scary or deep trauma. It’s being human, different stages and phases and it’s important to feel and let go things that have happened or are happening.

Sometimes your body is simply trying to tell you something you’ve been too busy, too distracted or too overwhelmed to hear.

And before anyone twists this…

I’m not saying throw your life away tomorrow and change everything up! More maybe it’s worth sitting with your feels and listening before you silence or numb the feeling.

Every single week I meet women who are convinced they’re failing. Heck some weeks it’s me 🫣

When we are disconnected, just getting by or having a moment it’s a lot.

That’s a very different conversation though 😉

Comment SAFE if this feels like a conversation we should be having more often🤍

Women don’t need more coping mechanisms. They need somewhere safe to fall apart.

It isn’t uncommon for someone to walk into my adjusting room, barely know me, barely say a word, and then suddenly the tears come. Uncontrollable and these women struggle to keep them in for fear of what is, what will be seen, what they don’t understand and what may be.

What always fascinates me isn’t the tears. It’s how quickly they apologise for them. How quickly they try to stop, pull themselves together and figure out why it’s happening, as though feeling something deeply means they’re doing something wrong.

I usually tell them the same thing… You’re okay.

You don’t need to explain it, justify it or even understand it right now. Just let it move.

Somewhere along the way many of us learnt that emotions were inconvenient. We learnt to stay strong, stay positive, keep going and hold it all together. And we got really good at it.

The problem is, what we don’t process doesn’t magically disappear. It often shows up as tension, weight on shoulders, loudness and bigness of things, a very at the world and your favorite people, uncontrollable snapping or words and thoughts, wanting to hide and escape and just everything is way too much. Carrying it all is never what we were meant to do and we struggle to asks for help a lot of the time.

Most women need support, space and tools that help them feel safe enough to reconnect with themselves again, they are not broken or failing.

For me that’s looked like chiropractic care, weights, movement, nature time, honest conversations and the natural tools I use daily to support my nervous system when life feels loud. Nit to suppress or numb feelings but to help me hold, understand and move through them.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re carrying the weight of the world lately, maybe the answer is giving yourself permission to put some of it down.

If this feels like you, send me a message with the word SAFE and I’ll send you the things that work for me and the thousands of women I have worked through this with.

You do not have the time lady 🫠

You don’t need to prove yourself. You are enough and people who love you will pay you, you don’t need to give too much of yourself any more.

Most of the women I work with are exhausted from trying to fit themselves into lives that look right on paper.

The right school.

The right career.

The right timeline.

The right way to build a business.

The right way to raise a family.

The right way to do health.

The right way to do life.

And the whole time their entire body is pulling them somewhere else.

A different pace.

A different path.

A different way of doing things.

Some of the best decisions I’ve ever made looked completely irrational to other people at the time.

Homeschooling.

Building business differently.

Trusting my intuition.

Following what felt right for our family instead of what made sense to everyone else.

The women I admire most are rarely the women who followed the rules.

They’re the women who backed themselves anyway.

Comment TRUST if you’ve been feeling called to do things differently 🤍

One pattern I’ve noticed in women is they rarely lose trust in themselves all at once.

They lose it in hundreds of tiny moments where they stop listening to what they already know.

Then eventually everyone else’s voice becomes louder than their own.

Comment TRUST if this hit 🤍
