As Swisse Wellness Australia continues to hide behind greenwashed claims about its krill oil products, our stickers are helping expose the truth.

They’re designed to fit perfectly on a krill oil bottle, but this one was spotted on a shelf 👀

Request a sticker pack and help spread the word — https://swissekrills.org/take-action/

Swisse's krill oil is driving the destruction of Antarctica's fragile marine ecosystem, taking a vital food source away from whales, penguins and seals to make products we simply don't need.

Yin and yang... i often see these two growing together... the she oak is so feminine and the grass tree so obviously masculine. I know of the she oak as a woman's balancing essence (the seed pods look like ovaries and it's soft needles capture yin moisture) in the Australian Bushflower Essences (a modality i often use and prescribe) but i wonder why Ian didn't do a grass tree one? I do know of grass tree being a traditional Indigenous Australian verility tonic though...
I heard someone say that 'she oak' was a name given to the tree by early settlers due to it being 'useless like a woman' but i don't believe that although it might have been spoken of in this way by some ppl. It's clearly just a beautiful tree especially when it flowers and when the wind goes through the wispy soft leaves and it makes the most beautiful sound!

Once again we see a safe herb being investigated for safety.
Any herb that becomes too popular will face sourcing issues (substitution) and overdose (body builders who heard it 'boosts testosterone' from some unqualified instagram page). We need to educate about herbs and treat them in ways that support sustainability... this herb was never the problem it's how is been treated and 'used'.
Many traditions did not think of herbs as something to be 'used' but gifts to be 'known' and respected.

Garlic and goldenrod oxymel.. in a few weeks i will stain this.... oxymels are a base of vinegar and honey... the vinegar acts as a solvent and the honey adds flavour and antimicrobial benefits. Acetic acid in vinegar is also mildly expectorant. The honey goes great to balance the strong garlic taste. Garlic is a great mucolytic (breaks down and clears mucous) as well as strongly antibiotic/ fungal but selective (doesn't harm beneficial bacteria). The vinegar honey and garlic all ensure this product is unlikely to ever go off. The golden rod is anti- inflammatory, antibacterial/fungal, anticatarrhal (clears mucous), and also mildly analgesic and anti spasmodic so great for a colds and flus with a sore throat, cough or sinus congestion. This mix would also be great for swollen glands or Urinary Tract infections.
