The hardest part wasn't the betrayal.

It wasn't the lies.
It wasn't the gaslighting.
It wasn't even discovering that the person I trusted most wasn't who I believed they were.

The hardest part was what it did to me.

The self-doubt.
The confusion.
The loss of identity.
The constant questioning of my own reality.

For a while, I thought I was breaking.

But I wasn't.

I was grieving.
