it’s CPAP time!

ResMed has tried the hybrid pillow full-face mask before with the Mirage Liberty. Unfortunately, the AirFit X30i looks like it may be following the exact same path.

It’s currently the worst ranked ResMed mask on SleepHQ.
If you’ve tried it share your experience below in the comments

It’s one thing waking up to, “You were snoring like a bitch last night.”

It’s another thing entirely hearing the recording and realising they were being polite.

If you really want your partner to do something about their snoring, download the SnoreLab app and record them for a night.

Because hearing “you snore” is one thing.

Hearing yourself sound like a chainsaw drowning in wet cement is a whole different level of motivation.

Sleep Apnea…. The struggle is real! 🫣

ResMed finally went full space-age with the AirFit X30i. 🚀

A full-face CPAP mask that seals under the nose, covers the mouth, and keeps the hose up top so you can roll around in bed without wrestling your tube all night.

Less mask in your face. More freedom to move. Still enough hardware to make you look like you’re being prepared for launch.

Not every mask suits every face, but for mouth breathers who hate bulky traditional full-face masks, this could be a bloody good option.

Anyone tried the X30i yet?

Your throat loses approximately 3% of its muscle tone every year without targeted training.

This is the same physiology that applies to any skeletal muscle, and it is one of the most underappreciated mechanisms behind adult-onset snoring.

When the muscles lining the upper airway lose tone, they become more likely to vibrate during breathing (producing snoring) and more likely to collapse entirely (causing obstructive sleep apnoea).

The clinical implication is straightforward: the airway responds to exercise. A well-toned airway is a more patent airway during sleep.

Multiple systematic reviews now confirm that structured oropharyngeal exercises (tongue, palate, and throat) produce clinically meaningful improvements in both snoring and OSA severity in adults.

People love strengthening muscles but no one talks about training the muscles that help keep your airway open while you sleep.

When your tongue and throat muscles aren’t doing their job properly, things can get floppy.

Floppy airway tissue vibrates.

That’s snoring.

And if it collapses far enough, that’s obstructive sleep apnoea.

The interesting part?

Your airway muscles can be trained and strengthened just like any muscles!

There’s now some pretty solid research showing that tongue, palate and throat exercises can improve snoring and may reduce sleep apnoea severity in adults.

That’s why this little bottle has caught my attention.

It uses resistance while you drink to engage the tongue and throat muscles, basically turning everyday hydration into a mini airway workout. Love that!

Will it replace CPAP for someone with significant sleep apnoea? Unlikely!

But as a simple daily tool to help train the muscles involved in snoring and airway stability?

Bloody interesting.

Hydrate. Train. Breathe.

Not a sponsored post and have yet to try the product. Cheers

MyAir is like the little sticker your teacher gives you for turning up to class.

“Great job! 100/100!” 🌟

Meanwhile, your CPAP therapy might still be getting absolutely flogged by leaks, pressure swings, flow limitations and a dodgy mask seal.

MyAir gives you the baby version of your data.

SleepHQ lets you see what’s actually happening while you sleep:

Your detailed breathing
Your mask leaks
Your pressure changes
Your oxygen levels
Your real therapy patterns

Because a happy little score is nice…

But seeing the truth is better.

Unlock your CPAP data with SleepHQ.

The Zeus Snoring Device is goated. Built on 15+ years of research, developed with King’s College London and backed by an NIHR grant. Most snoring gadgets are born in a marketing department. This one definitely wasn’t. The trust pilot reviews are lit with 4+ ratings on over 72% of reviews which is unheard of in the snoring space. I’m backing this winner!
