The passing of the beautiful and beloved Dolly Parton has touched such a soft spot in me 🤍
I’ve found myself listening to her music and feeling far more emotional than I expected. It’s extraordinary that one person can bring so much joy, warmth and comfort to so many people across generations.
For me, her passing also feels like another reminder of the ending of an era-the era my beautiful mother was part of. Perhaps that is why it has touched my heart so deeply.
Thank you for the music, the kindness, the laughter and the light, Dolly 🌟
