Love our local community! Love the commitment to State of Origin colours worn in to the store today! New recruit Evie copped a fair bit of flack from our mostly Maroons supporters today, but she held her own and it just goes to show that she's going to make a great addition to our team heading into the future! I'm so glad to be back and I'm super proud of our amazing team here at The Nish, may the best team win tonight! And again, thank you to all of our locals for supporting your local!

Did you know that Fraser Coast Council allows residents to dispose of their sharps in their general waste as long as they are in a sealed sharps container!
If you don't have a sharps container, follow the below steps:
It is an offence to dispose of needles and syringes in an unsafe manner. Never place loose needles in the waste!

Queensland Health’s Needle and Syringe Programs (NSPs) provide free disposal containers.

You can also purchase sharps containers from most chemists.

If you don't have a sharps container -

Place used needles in a secure rigid container such as an empty laundry detergent bottle.
Label it clearly as 'SHARPS'.
Secure the lid carefully and seal it.
You can then place it in your general waste bin.
