My life is full of rainbows

When the rain stops, and the sun shines we know we will find a rainbow. A rainbow is a sign of peace and hope, a promise that things will get better, our dreams will come true. Have you noticed that a rainbow has all the colours of our chakras (see oracle card numbers 14-22)?

Hold the card to your heart and repeat the affirmations
My life is full of rainbows.
I am the rainbow is someone’s else clouds.
I don’t let anyone dull my rainbow.
My life is all the colours of the rainbow.
I am a rainbow of possibilities.

Activity: Draw a rainbow. Use lots of colours.
Write down your hopes and dreams or write an affirmation for each colour.

Who remembers the first time they got their period? 🙋‍♀️

I do. I was on my Year 6 camp and I so was not ready for it.
Sure we had a little talk at school but I didn’t feel ready and I felt embarrassed.

Before I knew it, I had people asking me if I got my period, I then knew EVERYONE knew. I was mortified.

I was also so scared to tell my mum. How crazy does that seem. But we had never spoken about it.
I was in tears when I told her.

Mum was calm, kind and supportive. She went straight to the shops and got me some pads.

The pads from school were like HUGE, think a canoe 🛶 between your legs.
When I saw the ones mum got me I was so relieved and felt a lot better.

This is one of the many reasons I believe circles for girls are important. We talk about it all, it’s light hearted, serious and a lot of fun.

The girls will walk away feeling more confident about themselves and also will open a door for mum and daughter to chat about it too.

The new moon energy gives us motivation and inspiration and is a time to set goals.
When we set goals and achieve them it makes us feel good. Our goals can be big or small.

I let go

Once a month we are kissed by the full moon’s magic. When the moon is completely illuminated in full form, its energies are amplified.
During a full moon our emotions, feelings, and dreams are strong, and we can feel a little out of sorts. This is ok. The full moon helps us to release any negative feelings, thoughts, emotions, behaviours, anything that does not help us to be happy. Remember just because we let go of something does not mean we did not learn from that feeling and situation.
We allow ourselves to let go so we can open space in our bodies for more positivity.

Hold the card to your heart and repeat the affirmations
I let go of my worries.
I let go of my fears.
I let go of my anger.
I am in charge of my feelings.

Activity Full Moon Release: On a piece of paper write or draw anything that is troubling you. It can be big or small, one or ten things.
When you have written/drawn everything down, say it out loud then scrunch or rip the paper up. And let go of any bad feelings. Invite calm and peace to your mind, body, and spirit.

I absolutely love a bath outside, especially when it is a full moon on a clear night.

This is one of my favourite parts of our little sanctuary out in the bush.

There is something freeing about being in a bath (or shower) outside.

As I lay here in peace, enjoying the sounds, I take a moment to shift my energy, release negative thoughts, worries and frustrations.

Clearing space for unconditional love for myself and those around me. 🩷🌕
