💧World Continence Week 🚻
If you cross your legs when you sneeze, map out toilets before leaving the house, wear a pad “just in case”, or avoid certain types of exercise because of bladder leaks…this one’s for you.
Bladder leakage is very common, but it’s not something you have to put up with because you’ve had a baby, are getting older, or because “all the women in your family have it.”
Some signs your bladder might be asking for help:
• Leaking when you cough, sneeze, laugh or exercise
• Rushing to the toilet and struggling to hold on
• Going to the toilet “just in case” all the time
• Waking multiple times overnight to wee
• Avoiding activities because you’re worried about leaking
The good news? These symptoms are often treatable, and you don’t need to suffer in silence.
Share this with your mum, sister, friend, work wife, gym buddy or anyone who needs the reminder that leaking is common - but it’s not normal ❤️
