✨ Clinic space available for rent - Croydon VIC

As I prepare for my maternity leave, we are also getting ready to welcome a new practitioner to share our beautiful consulting room at Synergy Massage & Wellness, and we're looking for the right person to join us!

We'd love to welcome a practitioner who complements our clinic - perhaps working in the perinatal, paediatric or men's health space - think pelvic floor physio, lactation consultant, paediatric naturopathy or osteopathy, speech pathology, infant & family OT, men's fertility, etc. If you work with babies, kids or parents in any capacity, you could be a great fit. Or perhaps you work in a slightly different area - let's chat more!

Our clinic is a warm, collaborative clinic, currently with a women's health focus. Our current team includes a Clinical Nutritionist, Counsellor, Myotherapist and Osteopath - all focused on supporting women and families through the perinatal journey and beyond. We refer to each other, cheer each other on, and genuinely enjoy sharing a space. It's really important to us that whoever joins our clinic fits this collaborative & friendly vibe.

The room is available in full day blocks on Wednesdays or over the weekend, or a half day block on Thursday afternoons.

Please email [email protected] or send me a DM for more info. Do you know someone who would be the perfect fit? Please feel free to tag them below or send this post to them.

A little moment in clinic today that felt worth sharing.

We were reviewing a client’s microbiome results and landed on something simple but powerful. Seasonal eating.

When you eat what’s in season, your foods naturally rotate and your plant diversity increases without overthinking it. Exactly what your gut microbiome thrives on.

When clients present with acne, we’re not just assessing the skin in isolation.

We’re looking at the underlying patterns that could be contributing to it.

That often includes gut function, like how well food is being digested and how consistently the body is eliminating.

Blood sugar regulation is another key piece, given its influence on insulin and IGF-1, both of which can drive breakouts.

S*x hormones are part of the picture too, but it’s less about whether they are “high” and more about what is influencing them and where that signal is coming from.

Stress physiology often sits in the background, quietly impacting inflammation, healing, and overall skin behaviour.

Nutrient status matters more than people expect.

The body prioritises survival first, directing nutrients toward essential organs like the brain and heart.

Skin tends to be a lower priority, which means if food intake or nutrient absorption is off, it is often one of the first places we see it.

It is also important to recognise that this is multifactorial.

What is driving acne will often look different from one client to the next.

This is where testing can be incredibly useful.

Functional gut testing and hormone testing are tools we use in clinic to help identify what may be driving things beneath the surface.

This is why we’re not guessing.
We’re looking for patterns.

You know those nights where you stare into the fridge and think… absolutely not.

This is where most women either skip dinner, snack their way through the evening, or throw something together that looks like a meal but doesn’t actually do anything for them.

And then the next day?

Low energy. Cravings. Feeling flat. Wondering what went wrong.

This isn’t about cooking a perfect dinner.
It’s about covering your bases, even when you’ve got nothing left in the tank.

Protein. A proper carb (yes, especially at night). Some colour. A bit of fat.

Done.

If you’re not sure what your body actually needs right now, book a discovery call and we’ll get clear on your next steps.

Vitamin D becomes a focus as soon as the weather turns chilly, but it’s not just about avoiding deficiency.

It plays a key role in how your immune system responds and regulates inflammation.

We primarily get vitamin D from sunlight, with smaller amounts from foods like fatty fish, eggs, and fortified products.

Once in the body, it’s converted in the liver and kidneys into its active form, where it acts more like a hormone than a vitamin.

If sun exposure drops, your levels often do too, so it’s worth checking rather than guessing.

Ways to work together as I prepare for maternity leave 🤰🏼

🤓 KBW is running as usual - with Dani seeing our new clients, and me focusing on supporting my existing clients

🤓 I've opened up my bookings for acute consults - a 20min online or in person session to talk about supplement recommendations (ie. For iron deficiency, pregnancy, postpartum or breastfeeding) or to focus on an area requiring acute support - such as period pain, thrush, colds & flus (make sure to book an Online Consultation if there's a chance you're infectious) or mastitis.

🤓 The KBW Health Hub is still thriving - jump online and you'll see our fantastic collection of low cost webinars and resources to guide and support you

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch 🩷

Ways to work with me in the lead up to my maternity leave 🤰🏼

24 weeks of growing my bub and clinic is starting to look a little bit different... But KBW is well and truly still running!

While Dani will continue to take on new clients as usual, my big focus in clinic right now is supporting my ongoing clients - I'm planning to be in the clinic until the end of June before a short break.

While my books are closed to new clients in the 'regular' way, I am still taking on new clients for acute consultations - this is perfect for if you're wanting to book in a supplement strategy session, wanting support with iron deficiency, what supplements to take in your pregnancy, or if you need some acute support for a cold, thrush, period pain or whatever is happening for you right now. If you're infectious, remember to book this appointment as an Online Consultation.

The KBW Health Hub is also still thriving with heaps of low cost webinars and resources ready to go - which we will continue sharing more about over the coming months.

If you have any questions, please reach out 🩷

Immune health isn’t about chasing quick fixes when you feel something coming on. It’s built in what you do consistently:

→ how you’re eating
→ how you’re supporting your gut
→ whether your body actually has the nutrients it needs

Because when those foundations aren’t there, your immune system has very little to work with.

Inside our immune webinar, we walk you through:
– how the immune system actually functions
– the gut-immune connection
– key nutrients + foods to focus on
– how to care for yourself when you’re already sick

Plus you’ll get:
– an ebook
– a zinc-rich foods guide
– a chicken soup recipe
– a bone broth recipe

If you’re ready to actually support your immune system (not just react to it), this is for you. You can access the immune webinar via our website or send us a message 🥰
