I hear this all the time...

"I've spent hundreds on salon products and nothing worked."

The truth is...

It often isn't the product.

It's using products that aren't right for your hair.

Haircare isn't one-size-fits-all.

Someone with coloured blonde hair needs something completely different to someone with natural curly hair or someone dealing with mineral build-up from bore water.

That's why I don't believe in recommending the same products to everyone.

The right routine matters far more than the most expensive bottle on the shelf.

If you're unsure what your hair actually needs, ask.

I'd much rather point you in the right direction than have you waste money.

Winter is hard on rural hair.

Cold mornings, heaters running all day, dry winds and less humidity all pull moisture out of your hair. Add bore or tank water into the mix and it's no wonder your hair starts feeling rough, dull or brittle this time of year.

One mistake I see a lot is people washing their hair more often because it feels "dirty", when in reality it's just dehydrated.

A few simple changes can make a big difference:
• Turn the water temperature down slightly.
• Add a treatment once a week.
• Protect your hair from the wind if you're outside.
• Don't skip your leave-in products.

Healthy hair isn't just about what shampoo you use. It's about protecting it from everything it goes through each day.
